Uluhiyah Monotheism Is

Tawhid uluhiyah is Showing all forms of worship only to Him, and abandoning worship other than Him. Worship itself must be built on the basis of love and glorification of Him.

Explanation of Scholars About Tauhid Uluhiyah

Shaikh Salih bin Abdul Aziz alu Shaikh explained that the word uluhiyah has its origin from tools – ya’lahu – ilahah – come on which has meaning ‘worship with love and reverence’.

Until the word of God interpreted as worship accompanied by love and glorification.

Tawheed uluhiyah is the essence of Islamic teachings. Tawheed uluhiyah which is the essence of the preaching of the Prophets and Messengers and the content of all the holy books revealed by Allah SWT to the face of the earth.

Allah SWT says

That means :
"Truly We have sent to every nation a messenger who calls out: Worship Allah and stay away from taghut/deity other than Allah.” (QS and Nahl verses 36).

That means :
And We did not send any Messenger before us (Muhammad) but We revealed to him that there is no god (yours sincerely) except me, therefore worship Me alone.” (QS al-Anbiyaa verses 25)

We are al-Kiwari hafizhahallahu said :

"The meaning of tawhid uluhiyah is to obey Allah SWT in worship, in submission and absolute obedience.

For this reason, no one is to be worshiped except Allah alone, and one cannot associate with Him anything, whether on earth or in the heavens..

Example : worship by wanting heaven or because they are afraid of hell. If heaven and hell didn't exist, do we still worship Him? ?

Arab polytheists in ancient times also acknowledged this, but it turns out that this has not included them in Islam. This is because they associate partners with Allah with other gods

Definition of Tauhid Uluhiyah

Tauhid uluhiyah can be defined as:

praise Allah with the actions of the servant. Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad hafizhahullah said, "Tawheed uluhiyah means obeying Allah with the actions of a servant, as for example in the case of prayer, istighotsah/asking for safety, desire (ask for protection), bernadzar, and so on.

The servant must direct all of this towards Allah alone and not associate anything with Him in terms of worship.”

From here too, it can be understood that the correct meaning of the sentence tawhid Laa ilaha illallahadalah there is no true worship except Allah (laa ma’buda haqqun illallah).

Allah SWT says

That means :
"That's what it is, because Allah is al-Haq (worship) yours sincerely, as for everything they are excited about (Worship) other than Him is invalid.” (QS al-Hajj verses 62)

That means :
"And god (worship) you are the only god. There is no true god but Him. The Most Merciful and Most Merciful.” (QS Al Baqarah verse 163).

That is why the polytheists when they heard the preaching of the Prophet SAW to the phrase laa ilaha illallah then they said (which means),"Is he (Muhammad) will make the gods into one god?

Really, this is a very surprising thing.” (QS. Shaad: 5).

The following is an example of the deviation of Tauhid Uluhiyah

Examples of uluhiyah deviation include when someone experiences a disaster where he hopes to escape from that disaster. Then the man came to a shaman

He asked at that place so that the residents of that place or the shaman could free him from the disaster that was befalling him. He hopes and fears that his desires will not be fulfilled.

Ibnul Qoyyim's advice

Ibnul Qoyyim said that:

"Shirism is the destroyer of rububiyyah monotheism and abuse of uluhiyyah monotheism, and have negative thoughts about Allah SWT.
