Meaning of Tauhid Rububiyah

The meaning is to believe that Allah SWT is the One who created, turn off, turn on, give sustenance, and brings all benefits and also rejects all harm.

The one who watches over, ruler, arrange, the owner of the law of everything that shows that the sole power is for Allah SWT.

From here, A believer must believe that no one and nothing can match Allah in this matter.

Allah SWT says in the letter Al Ikhlas

That means :
“’ Say it!’
He is the One True God.
God is a God who depends on Him for everything.
He had no children and was not begotten.
And no one is equal to Him.”
(QS. Al Ikhlash: 1-4)

Consequences of Tauhid Rububiyah

So when someone believes that besides Allah, there is someone who has the ability to do as above, means that the person has wronged God and associated Him with other than Him.

The attitude of Jahiliyah in Tauhid Rububiyah

In the matter of Allah's rububiyah, some of the ignorant ignorant people do not deny it in the slightest and even they believe that the only one who can do this is Allah..

They do not believe that what they have worshiped and glorified can do such a thing.

Then what is the purpose of their worship of the many Gods ? Don't they know if the 'gods'’ they can't do anything?

Based on the Description of the Qur'an

Allah SWT says:

أَلَا لَهُ الْخَلْقُ وَالْأَمْرُ ۗ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ

That means :
“Remember, creating and ordering is only the right of Allah.
Mahasuci Allah, Lord of the universe.” [Al-A'raaf: 54]

ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ ۚ وَالَّذِينَ تَدْعُونَ مِنْ دُونِهِ مَا يَمْلِكُونَ مِنْ قِطْمِيرٍ

That means :
“…That (do) so it is Allah your Lord, His is the kingdom.
And the people you excite (Worship) besides Allah, nothing has anything even as thin as ari skin.” [Faathir: 13]

اللَّهُ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ

That means :
“Allah created all things.” [Az-Zumar: 62]

That only He gives sustenance for every human being, animals and other creatures. Allah SWT says:

وَمَا مِنْ دَابَّةٍ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلَى اللَّهِ رِزْقُهَا

That means :
"And there is not a crawling animal on earth but Allah is the One who provides for it.” [Huud: 6]

And that He is the Ruler of the universe and the Ruler of the universe, He who lifts and also lowers, He who glorifies and also humiliates, Almighty over all things, Day and night controller.

Allah declares about His oneness in His Rububiyyah over all the universes.

Allah SWT says

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

That means :
"Praise be to Allah the Lord (Ruler) universe.” [Al-Faatihah :2]

Allah created all His creatures on the nature of recognition of His Rububiyyah. Even the polytheists who associate God in worship also acknowledge that the oneness and nature of His Rububiyyah.

As Allah SWT says:

قُلْ مَنْ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ السَّبْعِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ قُلْ مَنْ بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ سَيَقُولُونَ لِلَّهِ ۚ قُلْ فَأَنَّىٰ تُسْحَرُونَ

That means :
“Say it, 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the great Throne??’ They will answer, 'Belongs to Allah'.
’ Say it , ‘Then why are you not pious?
’ Say it, ‘Who in His hand is the power over all things while He protects and nothing can be protected from Him, if you know?
’ They answered, 'Belongs to Allah'.
’ Say it, ‘(If so) then from what way have you been deceived??
[Al-Mu’-mine: 86-89]

General Conclusion

Thus Allah SWT explains their belief in the monotheism of Rububiyah Allah. Their beliefs did not cause them to convert to Islam

So, if we look at the reality that is happening in the midst of the Muslims, we realize how much and how much damage to faith has hit our brothers and sisters.

Many believe that other than Allah, there are those who are able to repel harm and bring benefits, pass the test, give business success, and also cure disease. All these deeds and also beliefs, is a broken belief and a form of shirk to Allah SWT.

Contemplation

In short, no one can give sustenance, cure disease, resist distress, provide benefits, happy, miserable, making one poor and rich, which animates, the deadly one, who passes a person from all sorts of tests, which raises and demeans a person’s rank and position, except Allah SWT.

All this requires us to ask only to Allah alone and not to other than Him.
