The nature of the Apostle
The nature of the Apostle – The messengers narrated in the Qur’an with their respective narrations are numbered 25 person. That is what must be believed for sure. Although in fact there are many Prophets who were sent down by Allah to this earth. In the following we will explain about the nature of the Prophet.
Prophet Muhammad has very noble morals and qualities. Therefore, we Muslims should study and imitate the qualities of the Prophet.

The nature of the Apostle
The following are the obligatory qualities for Rasulullah and also the impossible characteristics for Rasulullah
Obligatory Characteristics of the Prophet
1. Siddiq صِدْقٌ
Correct (Honest) or impossible Like lying or كِذْبٌ
2. Trust اَمَانَةٌ
Can be trusted or not possible treachery (خِيَانَةٌ)
3. Tabligh تَبْلِغٌ
Delivering commands and prohibitions or impossible to hide teachings or كِتْمَانٌ
4. Fathonah فَطَانَةٌ
Smart or impossible to forget or غَفْلَةٌ
1. The nature of Siddiq
Shiddiq means right. It's not just his words that are true, but also in every act is right. Speech and behavior are in line. This is different from current leaders who generally only speak sweet words, but his actions are very different from his words.
2. Trust
Trust has the meaning of being truly trustworthy. If a matter is given responsibility to Prophet Muhammad SAW, surely that person will believe that the matter will be carried out as well as possible.
3. Tabligh
Tablig means conveying. Every word of Allah SWT that is shown to humans will definitely be delivered by Prophet Muhammad SAW. There has never been anything hidden even though the words of Allah SWT touched Rasulullah SAW.
As tabligh, even though the verse insinuates it, Rasulullah SAW will continue to convey it to the people. That is the nature of a Prophet.
4. Fathonah
Fathonah means intelligent. It is impossible that the Prophet is ignorant or stupid. In conveying 6.236 verses of the Koran and after that explain them in tens of thousands of hadith, Of course it requires extraordinary intelligence.

The nature of Jaiz Rosul
As for the Jaiz nature of the apostles, it is the same as human nature, even used as an example for all humans, then they also have the characteristics of ordinary humans, that is al-a’radlul basyariyah (اَلأَعْرَاضُ البَشَرِيَّةُ) , such as eating, have a family, tired, die, feel good and bad, healthy and also suffering from illness but this does not reduce his position as Rasul.
And nature as-sam'iyat (السَّمْعِيَّاتِ) namely things that cannot be achieved with reason and can only be known from the information we receive and believe in from our own religious sources, namely from the books of Allah and the statements of the Messengers.
Explanation of the Qur'an
a. As-Siddiq.
As-Siddiq, that is, it is always true. What Prophet Ibrahim (as) said. to his father were the true words. What his father worshiped was something that did not benefit or harm, stay away.
This event is immortalized in Q.S. Maryam/19: 41, the following:
That means:
"And tell me (Muhammad) the story of Abraham in the book (al-Qur’an), Indeed, he is a very true prophet.” (QS Maryam verse 41)
b. Al-Amanah.
Al-Amanah, i.e. the messenger can always be trusted. At the time of the people of Prophet Nuh AS. denying what was brought to Prophet Noah. then Allah SWT confirmed that Nuh as., is a trustworthy person (trust).
As explained in QS. ash-Shu'ara/26 106-107 the following:
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ نُوحٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ . إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ
That means:
“When their brother (Noah) said to them, "Why are you not pious?? Indeed, I am an apostle of faith (who was sent) to you” (QS asy Shuara 106 107)
c. And-Tablig.
And-Tablig, that is, the Prophet always conveyed revelations. There is not a single verse that was hidden from Prophet Muhammad SAW. and not conveyed to his people. In a history, it is said that Ali bin Abi Talib was asked about a revelation that was not in the Koran, Ali also emphasized that
“By the One who splits seeds and releases breath, nothing is hidden except one's understanding of the Qur'an.”
This explanation is related to QS. al-Maidah: 67 the following.
That means :
"O Rosul! Convey what your Lord revealed to you. If not you do (what was ordered) means you are not conveying His mandate. and Allah protects you from (disturbance) human. Really, Allah does not guide the unbelievers.” (QS al Maidah 67)
d. Al-Fatana.
Al-Fatana, that is, the apostle has a very high intelligence. When there was a dispute between tribal groups in Mecca, each group imposes its will to place alHajar al-Aswad (black stone) above the Kaaba,
Then Rasulullah SAW intervened by having all the disputing groups hold the ends of the cloth. Then, The Prophet placed the stone in the middle, and they all lifted up to the top of the Kaaba. Rosulullah SAW was truly intelligent
The Impossible Nature of the Messenger
Impossible traits are traits that cannot possibly exist in Rasulullah. This impossible nature is the opposite of the obligatory nature, namely as below
a. Al-Kizzib.
Al-Kizzib, that is, it is impossible if the Prophet was lying / lie. All the words and actions of Rasul cannot be lies or lies.
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ . وَمَا يَنْطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ . إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَىٰ
That means :
“Your friend (Muhammad) not lost and not (red) confused, and that's not what was said (Al-Qur'an) according to his wishes and nothing else (Al-Qur'an) is a revealed revelation (to him).” (QS an Najm 2 to 4)
b. Betrayal.
Betrayal, that is, it is impossible if the Messenger was traitorous. All that is entrusted to him will be carried out.
That means :
"Follow what has been revealed to you (Muhammad), there is no god but Him, and turn away from the polytheists.” (QS al An’am 106)
c. Al-Kiṭman.
Al-Kiṭcaught, that is, it is impossible for the Prophet to hide the truth. Every word he received from Allah SWT. He must have told his people.
That means :
“Say it (Muhammad), I did not tell you that Allah's treasure is with me, and I don't know the supernatural and I don't (red) told you that I'm an angel. I only followed what was revealed to me. Say it, Are blind people the same as seeing people?? Don't you think(nya).” (QS. al-An’am: 50)
d. Al-Baladah.
Al-Baladah is impossible if the Prophet was stupid.
The nature of Jaiz Rasul
The nature of jaiz for the apostle is the nature of humanity, the following is the explanation
al-ardul basyariyah, It means that the apostle has the same qualities as ordinary people, such as hunger, haus, Sick, and so on. Even an apostle still dies like any other creature.
In addition to Rasul, there are mandatory and impossible attributes, Rasul also has the nature of Jaiz, of course the nature of the apostle's jaiz with the jaiz nature of Allah SWT.
1. Ishmaturrasul
That is a person who ma’shum, protected from all sins and mistakes within the ability to understand religion, obedience, and deliver the revelation of Allah SWT. so that you are always ready to face any challenges and tasks.
2. iltizamurrasul
namely people who are always committed to what they teach. They work and preach according to the instructions and orders of Allah SWT.
Thus the discussion regarding the character of the Prophet, Hopefully this is useful and makes us humane people
