Definition of Angel
Etymologically, Angel is the plural form of the word malaka which means strength.
Angels are God's creatures created from An-Nur or light. like the hadith of the Prophet, which means more or less “angel made of light”.
For a Muslim it is obligatory to believe in angels, because faith in angels is part of the pillars of faith.
Faith in angels here means believing that there are angels, even though we ourselves can't see angels, and believe that angels are God's creatures made of light.
Angels always worship and never duplicate and obey all the commands of the Creator, so that angels have no sin.
Although humans are basically unable to see angels, but with God's permission man can see angels as he pleases, and this incident usually happened to the apostles and prophets of Allah.
Even though the angels always obey and always worship Allah, in fact, the worship of humans and jinn is preferred by Allah Ta’ala.
Why does God prefer the worship of humans and jinn over angels? Because jinn and humans can make their own choices unlike angels who don't.
The form of angels is mentioned by Allah Ta’ala in his words in the letter Fathir verse 1, which states that angels have two, three, and four wings.
