Miracles are an unusual thing done by Allah SWT through His prophet and Messenger as a proof to mankind about the truth of his prophethood. In the following, we will present the understanding, assorted and also complete examples. For more details, see the discussion below
Definition of Miracle
A miracle is an extraordinary or extraordinary thing given by Allah SWT for the Prophet and His Messenger
The word is a miracle المعجزة is a derivative of the word al-Ajz [العجْز] which means unable to do something. While the term syar'i, miracles are extraordinary events that God gave to His prophets as proof of their prophetic status.
Allah says in the letter of Ai isra verse 101
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَى تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ
That means :
Indeed, I gave it to Moses 9 clear verse.
(QS. al-Isra: 101)
What is meant by the word ‘verse’ in the verse is a miracle.
Kind of Kind of a Miracle
Miracles can be divided into: 4 that is :
1. Mukjizat Kauniyah.
Kauniyah miracles are miracles that are always related to natural events, like for example when the moon is split into 2 by Prophet Muhammad SAW and also the parting of the Red Sea by Prophet Musa as using a stick.
2. Shakhsiyyah.
Syakhsiyyah's miracles are miracles that come out of the bodies of the Prophet and the Prophet, like for example the water that comes out of the gap between the fingers of Rasulullah SAW, the light of the moon radiated from the hands of the Prophet Moses and the healing of blindness and leprosy by the Prophet Jesus.
3. Salbiyyah.
The miracle of Salbiyyah is a miracle that makes something helpless, such as when Prophet Ibrahim (as) was burned by King Namrud., But fire can't burn it.
4. Aqliyyah.
The miracle of Aqliyyah is a rational and sensible miracle. The only example is the Qur'an.
Examples of Miracles
The following are just a few examples of the miracles we can present
Miracles of the Prophet Muhammad SAW
The miracles of Rasulullah SAW are so many that they reach thousands. What is already popular is contained in the book of hadith, Among them are the Al-Quran Al-Karim as a visible and clear miracle and clear evidence, Cannot be defeated by evil, both from the front and from behind.
The Quran was revealed by Allah SWT, the Most Wise and the Most Praiseworthy, can weaken writers and make them powerless to make a single letter like the Koran, even though they ask for the help of all beings.
Allah Ta’ala says:
قُلْ لَـئِنِ اجْتَمَعَـتِ الْإِنـْسُ وَالْجِـنُّ عَلَى أَنْ يَأْتُـوا بِمِثْـلِ هَذَا الْقُرْآَنِ لَا يَأْتُونَ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَوْ كَانَ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ ظَهِيرًا
That means :
“Say it : "Indeed, if humans and jinn come together to make something similar to the Qur'an, surely they will not be able to make anything like him, although some of them become helpers for others.”
Rasulullah SAW challenged literary experts to make a work of the class of Al-Qu'ran, even though their number is very large, they were also eloquent and very hostile to him SAW. But none of them were able to do that until today.
As for his miracles other than Al Quran Al Karim, it is impossible to summarize here

But we the author will mention a few of his miracles SAW, among them namely :
- split the moon
- hold the sun
- pouring water from his finger SAW
- water and food which became plentiful because of his blessings SAW
- food that can be glorified
- longing for palm fronds
- greeting tree
- the walk of the tree to him SAW
- the testimony of the tree on his prophethood SAW
- gathering 2 trees that are far from each other
- the return of the two trees to their respective places.
The Miracles of the Prophet Moses
Prophet Moses a.s. He was supplied 9 miracles by Allah SWT. this is as explained in Q.S. Al-Isra’/17: 101 which sounds as follows.
وَلَقَدْ آتَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ تِسْعَ آيَاتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ ۖ فَاسْأَلْ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ إِذْ جَاءَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُ فِرْعَوْنُ إِنِّي لَأَظُنُّكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ مَسْحُورًا
That means :
And verily We gave unto Moses 9 real miracle, then ask the Children of Israel, when Moses came to them, Pharaoh said to him: "Actually I thought you, hi Moses, a person under magic ".
Miracles of the Prophet Jesus as
For the Children of Israel, the miracles of Jesus are mere magic. While, for the followers of Jesus, the miracle just added to their faith. The leaders of the Children of Israel felt that their power was greatly threatened by the presence of the Prophet Jesus.
They did everything they could to curb the influence of the teachings of Jesus, including to kill Jesus.
Among the other miracles of Jesus are the following:
- Born without a father.
- Being able to talk when I was a baby, to explain that he was a prophet sent to the children of Israel.
- Able to know the original Torah of the Prophet Moses, which is hidden and has undergone changes made by the ingenious people of the Jews.
- Revive the dead.
- Given the ability to see unseen things through his five senses even though he can't see it directly.
- Bringing down food from the sky at the request of the Apostles.
