In this article, I will discuss the science of recitation, one of which is iqlab.
So that we can read and can understand the reading and meaning in the verses of the Qur'an, we should first learn about the science of tajwid so that we can read the Qur'an well and correctly.
For that, let's runners together regarding one of the tajwid sciences, namely iqlab, as below :
Iqlab is one of the reading laws used when nun Sukun or Tanwin meets the letter Hijaiyah Ba. In language, Iqlab has the meaning to replace or change something from its original form.
Understanding Iqlab
Iqlab means to move, spinning, or exchange. In terms of tajwid iqlab is to change the voice of Nun or Tanwin when meeting the letter ba, which is accompanied by a buzz.
The way to read it is to change the sound of nun sukun or tanwin into mim sukun accompanied by humming 2 harokat, so that no more nun sukun's voice is heard, but the sound of breadfruit mim was heard.
Why ? why nun sukun or Tanwin is changed into mim sukun? At least there is 2 reason. First, mim is the brother of the letter ba, because both are makhraj. Second, Mim is also a brother to Nun, because both of them have the characteristic of buzzing or gunnah.
The Arabs have become accustomed to changing or converting nun breadfruit into meme (when it meets the letter ba) to facilitate and smooth the conversation, for example the pulpit which was originally a pulpit.
Punctuation is usually symbolized by meme standing on breadfruit or Tanwin.
