Idgham
Idgham (ﺇﺩﻏﺎﻡ) that is, cohesive or mixed between 2 letters or even insert one letter into another letter. Therefore, how to read idgham should be pronounced by melting from one letter to the next.
In the following, we will explain one of the knowledge of recitation, namely Idgham. For more details, see the discussion below
Definition of Idgham
Idgham literally means to merge or also to include, in the law of death, idham is to melt the dead nun or tanwin
What is related to the law of nun dies and tanwin is that it is divided into two, that is :
- Idgham BiLagunah
- Idham Bighunnah.
Apart from Idgham BiLaGunnah and Idham BiGunnah, there are also other idgham laws which are discussed in the idgham law chapter.. for example :
- Idgham mutasatsilain dan Igham Mutajanitsain
The letter Idgham
The letters idgham are six , that is : Yes ’, Out', Me, Blue, Waw and Nun,
To make it easier to remember, the letters are often to be combined and become words : Yarmalun.
How to read
There are two ways to read Idgham letters because Idgam itself is divided into two, namely Bigunnah and Bilagunnah, Here's the full details
How to Read Bigunnah
If Nun Sukun or Tanwin meets one of the four letters, namely MIM, NOW, WAWU and YAA are then dissolved and accompanied by a slight buzzing
How to Read Bilagunnah
The way to read it is to melt نْ or married [ ــًــ, ــٍــ, ــٌــ ] become hijaiyah letters after that, namely lam / ل nor ro / ر, or by the way the pronunciation of the two letters is as if given the sign of tasydid, with no buzzing sound (gunnah).
Exception
If the nun dies and the tanwin meets one of the letters idgham in one word, which is read clearly.
only 4 words in the Qur'an that contain the rule, namely the word "Ad Dunya"” , ” Bunyan ” , ” Sinwan ” dan “Qinwan”
