Fisabilillah
Fisabilillah is fighting in the way of Allah SWT in the sense in accordance with what is determined by the scholars of fiqh. The point is to protect and maintain religion and to exalt the sentence of tauhid, Here is a complete fisabilllah explanation that we have summarized
Fisabilillah (on the way of Allah)
is one among 8 parties or groups entitled to receive zakat mal, as explained in Al_Qur’an Surat At-Taubah
The scholars of jurisprudence agree that those who fight in the way of Allah SWT fall into the category of fisabilillah.
When we talk about fisabilillah it is always related to jihad, well what is the real jihad ? let us discuss slowly and do not forget to say Bismillah and who has common sense so as not to fail to understand in understanding the jihad that we will discuss below
The meaning of Jihad
The Qur’an mentions the word ja-ha-da as much 42 sentences with different sighât, One of them is in Surat al-Ankabut verse 69 which reads :
"And those who jihad (jahadu) to find our Ridhoan, actually We will show them our streets. and verily Allah is with those who do good.”
There are many hadiths that speak of jihad. Sahabat Anas RA narrated that Rasulullah SAW said :
“Indeed heaven is under the sword's shadow.”
In Shahih al-Bukhari it is mentioned :
"Whoever has dusty feet because of jihad fisabilillah then Allah will forbid hell to him.”
Imam al-Nawawi has included the hadith of the priority of jihad as much 67 hadith in his book Riyadh al-Sholihîn. Among them is narrated by Abi Hurairah RA, that one day Rasulullah SAW was asked by someone
“O Rasulullah SAW, what a most noble act?” Then the Prophet replied "Believe in Allah and His Messenger.” The friend asked again "Then what?” The Prophet SAW replied “Jihad in the way of Allah.” Then he asked again "Then what else ?” The Prophet replied "Hajj mabrur.”
In line with the hadith above, Ibn Mas'ud RA asked Rasulullah SAW.
“O Messenger of Allah, charity what Allah SWT loves most?”
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, “Pray on time.”
"Then what?” Ibn Mas'ud asked next.
“Devoted to both parents.”
"Then what?”
"Jihad in the way of Allah,” The Prophet SAW ended.
From the two hadiths above, it can be seen that jihad is a very high virtue. In the context of genuine charity, jihad ranks second after faith.
Meanwhile, in the context of charity which Allah loves, namely jihad ranks third after praying on time and serving the 2 parents. Even in a hadith narrated by the companions of Abi Yahya that the Prophet said :
"Whoever donates his funds for the way of Allah, it will be written for him as much reward 700 fold.”
In fiqh even, The scholars have positioned jihad into a separate discussion chapter. Like Shaykh Taqiyyuddin al-Hishni in his book Kifayah al-Akhyar, he gave an explanation about jihad and related the events of jihad in the time of Rasulullah SAW.
Definition and purpose
Jihad literally means to exert and pour out. Whereas in terms of syari'ah, it means a Muslim who exerts and devotes all his abilities to fight for and uphold Islam in order to achieve the blessing of Allah SWT.
Therefore, the words jihad are always accompanied by fisabilillah to show that the jihad performed must be in accordance with the teachings of Islam in order to gain the pleasure of Allah SWT.
Jihad is divided into three.
First
Jihad with words, that is to convey, teaching and preaching the teachings of Islam to human beings and answering the misguided accusations directed at Islam.
Included in oral jihad, namely tabligh, ta’lim, dawah, amar ma'ruf nahi mungkar and political activities aimed at enforcing the sentence of Allah.
Second
Jihad with wealth, that is, investing wealth in the way of Allah SWT, especially for the struggle and war to uphold the word of Allah and prepare the family of mujahids who have been left behind in jihad.
Third
Jihad with the soul, that is, fighting infidels who fight Islam and Muslims. And the dominant expression of jihad mentioned in the Qur’an and Sunnah means fighting in the way of Allah.
As for Jihad, it is prescribed to ensure that the Shari'ah of Allah is established on earth and implemented by human beings. So that human beings get Grace from the teachings of Islam and are free from slander.
Jihad fisabilillah is not revenge and menzhalimi the weak race, but rather to protect the weak people who are oppressed on earth.
Jihad also aims not merely to kill infidels and terrorize them, because Islam actually respects the right to life of every human being. But jihad is prescribed in Islam to stop the oppression and slander that disturbs human life (QS. al-Nisâ’ 74-76).
Jihad Today
Jihad that has been understood all this time and so in the above writing seems to be only against the enemy in the form of human beings. even though, as we already know based on the hadith of the Prophet SAW, the greatest jihad after the war of badr is jihad against lust.
If the war of badr is so big it is still less big than fighting lust, it is fitting that we think that the fight against lust itself is more important
If interpreted more deeply, besides the enemy in the form of "lust” then it also includes the enemies who have the form of liberal thoughts, radicalism, fundamentalism, westernisasi, heretical flow, and others.

Including the enemy of the media. Now a lot of news and photos are able to provoke many people to cause hatred between people and even clashes between people.
Displayed and uploaded in a large manner even though it does not necessarily match the facts. Seeing this phenomenon, we need to display news, story, and real photos that really read it, people will be happy, peace, add brotherhood and give birth to ideas in goodness. This is media jihad.
But do not forget jihad to fight yourself, namely kekafira that exists in each of us for example lust, greedy, angry, that default is our own infidelity, let's fight the inside before fighting the outside
WaLlâhu A’lam.
