DrakorFilm – Kim Min Kyu caught in a battle against himself in the latest teaser The Heavenly Idol.

Based on the popular webtoon and web novel, tvN The Heavenly Idol is an upcoming fantasy drama starring Kim Min Kyu as High Priest Rembrary, who one day suddenly woke up and found himself in Woo Yeon Woo's body, member of the failed idol group Wild Animal.

The newly released third teaser for “The Heavenly Idol” shows the hilarious struggle between High Priest Rembrary and idol Woo Yeon Woo who mysteriously swapped bodies. Quietly, High Priest Rembrary suggests that they return to their original selves, but Woo Yeon Woo quickly denied it.

With Woo Yeon Woo choosing to remain a priest, High Priest Rembrary has no choice but to adjust to his new life as a failed idol if he wants to survive. He did it with the help of Kim Dal ( To Bo Gyeol ), Woo Yeon Woo's No.1 fan who is Wild Animal's manager.

However, this proved to be quite a task as High Priest Rembrary struggled to pick up the group's choreography, awkwardly standing on stage in the middle of a performance, and is shocked by his poor attempt at acting. To top it all off, High Priest Rembrary was surprised to see the salad that was given to the group to eat, even wondering if they had been mistakenly given bird feed.

along with time, High Priest Rembrary begins to understand his new career and confidently expresses his determination to succeed. He accepted his unexpected fate, comment, “Of course, becoming an idol is my path,” while Kim Dal and their agency employees proudly support him.

The end of the clip shows Lee Jang Woo's first appearance as Shin Jo Woon, possessed by the Dark Lord. He mysteriously threatened with a grin, “Let's have fun in this world too.” His eyes flashed red as the shocked High Priest's shot flashed past, raises questions about their relationship.

Sinopsis Drama Korea The Heavenly Idol (2023)

Pontifex Lembrary (Kim Min-Kyu) widely considered to have the most powerful divine powers ever. When he fought against the devil, he was transferred to another world. Pontifex Lembrary then finds himself in a small dormitory and possesses Woo Yeon-Woo's body, who is a member of the unpopular idol group Wild Animal. This group has been together for 3 year, but they almost disbanded due to lack of success.

9 hours later, Pontifex Lembrary was placed on stage with Wild Animal for a live performance at a broadcast station. When the music starts playing, Pontifex Lembrary, in Woo Yeon-Woo's body, shout, “I don't know how to dance.” The live show was a disaster, but attracted the attention of people and the media. With his charm, including self-confidence, Woo Yeon-Woo, who is still possessed by the spirit of Pontifex Lembrary, becomes popular and so does his Wild Animal group..

Pontifex Lembrary now has to get used to life as a member of an idol group and he faces various problems, like dealing with strange religious groups and demons.
