Prayer to Ask for Complete Sustenance in Arabic and Its Meaning and with the example of prayer taught by the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Sustenance, Match, and Death is in the hands of God. That is, only Allah knows the amount of his property and the direction of his property. Do people just relax, relax, and waiting for sustenance to come by itself? Certainly not. People have a duty to be as optimal as possible and don't forget to pray for sustenance.

No doubt, many people want abundant wealth so that they can fulfill all their desires. The fact, every wealth we get is good from the amount, the way we get it, or their use, will be held accountable by Allah in the hereafter.

So that the sustenance we receive does not lead to hell, we can ask for protection from Allah SWT, so that the sustenance we receive is halal and abundant.

The forms of sustenance also vary. It's not just abundant money. Health, longevity and even spending time with family also includes very precious sustenance from God.

Prayers To Ask For Blessed Sustenance

اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مِسْكِينًا، وَأَمِتْنِي مِسْكِينًا، وَاحْشُرْنِي فِي زُمْرَةِ الْمَسَاكِينِ

That means : O Allah, turn me into a poor condition, Kill me in poverty, and put me in the rank of the poor.” (Hasan Hadith Narrated by Ibn Majah)

Prayer for Extensive Sustenance

رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِيْ وَهَبْ لِيْ مُلْكاً لَا يَنْبَغِيْ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ بَعْدِى إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ الْوَهَّابُ

That means : Oh my god, Forgive me and grant me a kingdom that no one owns after me, Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Bestower (Q.S Sad : 35)

Prayer Asks for Adequacy of Sustenance

اَللّٰهُمَّ اَكْفِنِيْ بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِيْ بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ

That means : Ya Allah, give me sufficiency with halal sustenance, so I don't need the illegal, and give me wealth with your gifts, so I do not need the help of others, apart from yourself.

Prayer for Easy Sustenance and Avoid Disbelief

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْكُفْرِ وَالْفَقْرِ وَعَذَابِالْقَبْرِ

That means : Ya Allah, I seek refuge in disbelief, poverty and grave torment (H.R Ahmad, Nasa'i and Abi Syaibah)

Prayer for Abundance of Sustenance

رَبَّنَا أَنْزِلْ عَلَيْنَا مَائِدَةً مِنَ السَّمَاءِ تَكُوْنُ لَنَا عِيْدًا لِأَوَّلِنَا وَءَاخِرِنَا وَءَايَةً مِنْكَ وَارْزُقْنَا وَأَنْتَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ

That means : O our Lord, send down to us a meal from heaven (which day he descended) it will be a holiday for us, that is, for those who are now with us or who come after us, and be a sign of your power ; give us sustenance, and Thou art the Best of Providers (Q.S Al-Maidah : 114)
