Dhuha Prayer Prayer

Dhuha prayer is one of the special sunnah prayers. Various benefits and advantages of performing this sunnah prayer routinely. Duha prayer is also known as sunnah prayer to ask for sustenance from Allah SWT.

The way to perform the Dhuha prayer is the same as performing the prayer in general. However, there are certain prayers that are read after the Dhuha prayer.

Dhuha prayer intention

اُصَلِّيْ سُنَّةَ الضُّحَى رَكْعَتَيْنِ مُسْتَقْبِلَ اْلقِبْلَةِ اَدَاءً لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى

The practice of the Sunnah-Dhuhaa rak’ataini mustaqbilal qibla is the custom of lillaahi ta’ala.

That means :
I deliberately did the Dhuha Sunnah Prayer, two raka'at because of Allah Ta'ala.

Time to perform Dhuha prayers

Duha prayer time starts from sunrise (naik) until it leans to the west.

Beginning of Dhuha Prayer Time

The initial time for Duha prayer begins twenty minutes after sunrise. This is in accordance with the hadith narrated by 'Amr bin 'Abasah.

Prophet Muhammad said:: “ Do the morning prayer and then leave the prayer until the sun rises, until the sun rises. When the sun rises, it rises between the two horns of the devil, at that time the disbelievers were prostrating (worship the Sun).” (HR. Muslim)

End of Dhuha Prayer Time

The end of the Dhuha prayer time is fifteen minutes before the noon prayer time.

The best time to perform Duha prayers is at the end of the day or at a quarter of the afternoon, that is, in increasingly hot conditions. That is in accordance with the hadith narrated by Zaid bin Arqam.

Zaid bin Arqam saw people doing the morning prayer (in the early morning). He said, “ Don't they know that praying at other times than this is more important?. Verily the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said, 'Prayers of the Awwabin (obedient; return to God) is when the baby camel starts to heat up'.” (HR. Muslim)

Prayer After Prayer Dhuha

From 'Aishah radhiyallahu 'anha, he said that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, finished the Duha prayer, he uttered,

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ، إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمِ

“ALLOHUMMAGHFIR-LII WA TUB ‘ALAYYA, INNAKA ANTAT TAWWABUR ROHIIM

that means:

& ldquo; Ya Allah, forgive me and accept my repentance, verily You are the Acceptor of Repentance and the Most Merciful) until he read it a hundred times.” (HR. Bukhari in Al-Adab Al-Mufrad, no. 619. Shaykh Al-Albani said that this hadith is authentic”

Benefits of Duha Prayer

• "Every morning, Every part of your body must be given alms. Every rosary is charity, every tahmid is charity, every tahlil is a charity, every takbeer is charity, commanding goodness is charity, and forbidding doing evil is charity. All of this can be replaced with two rak'ahs of dhuha prayer.” (HR. Muslim)
• "Dhuha prayer is the prayer of those who return to God, after people start to forget and get busy working, that is, when the baby camels wake up because the place where they lie is hot.” (HR Muslim).
• And there are many more benefits of Duha prayer that we know and that we don't know, but Allah SWT never breaks a promise, So do the dhuha prayer without expecting anything but learn to pray because of the command of Allah SWT
