Rain is one of the greatest gifts that Allah SWT gives to His servants. No rain, the earth will dry up, the tree will die, animals will die of thirst and humans will suffer greatly, because water is the source of life.

Therefore, if it doesn't rain or the dry season lasts longer, we must ask Allah to bring rain to this earth quickly. Requesting rain can be done by performing the Istisqo prayer in congregation, which is usually done in the field, or at least one prayer is said, so that the rain can be quickly brought down.

Prayer asks for Rain

The first prayer :

(Allahummasqinaa ghaitsan mughitsan mari’an hani‘an mari‘an ghadaqan mujallalan aammaa thabaqan sahhan da’iman)

That means : & ldquo; Ya Allah, send us useful rainwater, easy, fertile, their, abundant, equally, comprehensive, and eternal benefit”

Second prayer :

• 

(God bless you, wa laa taj‘alna by minal-shame)

That means : & ldquo; Ya Allah, send us rainwater, don't make us one of those who give up”

Third prayer :

• 

(Allaahumma inna bil ‘ibaadi wal bilaadi wal bahaa’imi wal khalqi minal-bala’i wal jahdi wad dhanki maa laa nasykuu illaa ilaika)

That means : & ldquo; Ya Allah, there are really many servants, country and type of animal, and all other creatures suffer calamity, starving, and the narrowness we only complain to You”

The fourth prayer

• 

(Allaahumma anbit lanaz-zar‘a, wa adirra lanad dhar‘a, wasqinaa min barakaatil-samaa’i, wa anbit lanaa min barakaatil land)

"Oh, my God, grow our plants, grow our livestock milk, drop our rainwater because of the blessings of Your sky, and grow our plants from the blessings of Your earth”

Fifth prayer :

• 

(God bless you‘ ‘Annal Jahda wal juu‘a wal ‘uraa, waksyif ‘annal balaa’a maa laa yaksyifuhuu ghairuka)

That means : & ldquo; Ya Allah, lift the suffering of hunger, hunger and destruction from our shoulders. Remove from us disasters that only You can overcome”

Sixth prayer :

(May Allah inna nastaghfiruka, innaka kunta ghaffaaraa, fa arsilis samaa'a 'underlines the midraara)

That means : & ldquo; Ya Allah, we truly apologize to You because You are Forgiving. Send down on us torrential rain from Your sky”
