Exit the House
D0a out of the house – In performing daily activities as Muslims we are encouraged to pray to Allah SWT, Likewise, when we enter the house and come out of the house, we are encouraged to pray.
Nobody knows what will happen when we leave the house. Therefore, we are encouraged to surrender to All0h SWT through a prayer.
This prayer is read before or when leaving the house, with the hope that All0h SWT will always protect us wherever we go, until he returned home again.
The following are prayer lafadz in the house and out of the house with Latin and translation.

| باسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ على اللَّهِ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ باللَّهِ |
| Bismillahi tawakkaltu' alallaahiwa laa haula wa laa quwwata illaa billah |
That means:
By saying the name All0h. I trust in All0h, and no power and strength except with (help) Alloh.
When someone comes out of his house and he reads the prayer.
Then it was conveyed to him, ‘You are instructed, you are provided for, and you are protected.’ Instantly the demons moved away from him. Then one of the demons said to his friend, 'How could you bother the person who was being instructed, be sufficient, and protected.’ (HR. Abu Daud |, no. 5095; Turmudzi, no. 3426; rated authentic by Al-Albani).
The Secret of the Virtue of Prayer Out of the House
If we pay attention, this prayer out of the house is very short, lightly pronounced, but has a great privilege. You can imagine, just by reading this prayer, You can get guaranteed safety, guarantee of sufficiency, following guidance from All0h. All of that is a source of goodness in this world and the hereafter for the servant.
- Hidayah is an absolute necessity for a servant to be able to be istiqamah above the religion of Allah, which will later lead him to the happiness of the hereafter.
- Sufficiency is a source of serenity for a servant when living in the world, so that he is not deficient (born) or feel deprived (inner).
- Protection from Satan is a guarantee of security from all his treachery which is a source of evil and damage to the life of this world and the hereafter.
Al-Munawi quotes a very beautiful explanation from Ath-Thibi about this prayer,
فإذ استعاذ العبد بالله باسمه المبارك فإنه يهديه ويرشده ويعينه في الأمور الدينية وإذا توكل على الله وفوض أمره إليه كفاه فيكون حسبه {ومن يتوكل على الله فهو حسبه} ومن قال لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله كفاه الله شر الشيطان
“When a servant asks for protection from All0h through His blessed name, then All0h will give him a clue, guide him, and help him to be facilitated in religious affairs. When a person trusts in God and submits his affairs to God, then Allah will suffice it.
And the bounty of All0h is sufficient, as in the verse that means,
’Whoever trusts in Allah, then He will suffice it.’ While people are reading it lasts until a month,Allah will protect him from Satan's evil.” (Faidhul Qadir, Al-Munawi, 5:123)

| اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَى عِبَادِاللهِ الصَّالِحِيْنَ |
| Assalaamu ‘alainaa wa‘ alaa ’ibaadillaahish shoolihii. |
That means:
"May security be upon us, the pious servants of Allah.”
The first devil said to the second demon who wanted to disturb you. He said “Kaifa laka birajulin?” ” What about you with someone you do not have the strength to bother with.
Someone who has been given guidance by Allah to remember Allah, and Allah has had enough, God protects you from your troubles and God protects you from your deception. It is a useless thing to disturb him. You better just go back and find someone else who can be bothered?
There is a hadith that is general in nature that talks about the priority of people who enter the house by mentioning the name of Allah. From Jabir bin ‘Abdillah, he had heard the Prophet shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
إِذَا دَخَلَ الرَّجُلُ بَيْتَهُ فَذَكَرَ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ وَعِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ لاَ مَبِيتَ لَكُمْ وَلاَ عَشَاءَ. وَإِذَا دَخَلَ فَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ دُخُولِهِ قَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ أَدْرَكْتُمُ الْمَبِيتَ. وَإِذَا لَمْ يَذْكُرِ اللَّهَ عِنْدَ طَعَامِهِ قَالَ أَدْرَكْتُمُ الْمَبِيتَ وَالْعَشَاءَ
“If a person enters his house then he mentions the name of God when entering it, as well as when he ate, then the devil said (to his friends), “You have no place to spend the night and you don't have to eat.” When he entered his house without mentioning the name Allah when he entered it, the devil said (to his friends), "Now you have a place to spend the night.” When he forgot to say Allah's name while eating, then the devil said, “You get a place to spend the night and dinner rations.
