Prayer After Prayer

The activity of gathering together in a place accompanied by recitation of dhikr has the law of the sunnah, even it is the best way to get closer to Allah SWT.

As explained in one of the hadiths which reads as follows It is not a people gathered to recite dhikr and do not expect except the pleasure of Allah unless angels will call from heaven: Stand in a state of forgiveness of your sins. (HR Ath-Thabrani).

Dzikir Reading After After Fardhu Prayer

(3x) أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ العَظِيْمَ اَلَّذِي لآ إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ اْلحَيُّ اْلقَيُّوْمُ وَأَتُوْبُ إِلَيْهِ

Astaghfirullahal’adzim, alladzi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qoyyumu wa
before you(I). (Read 3x)

That means : I ask forgiveness of God Almighty, that there is no god but He Who is the Living and the Self-Esteem, and I repented to Him.

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ اْلمُلْكُ وَلَهُ اْلحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى
كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ

La_ Ilaha Illallohu Wa’hdahula_ Syariikalah(U), Lahulmulku Walahul’hamdu Yu’hyii Wayumiitu Wahuwa ‘Ala_Kulli Syai’in(G)Qodiir(U). (Read 3x)

That means : There is no god but Allah himself, there is no partner with Him.
To Him is the kingdom, and to Him are all praise. It turns on and off, and He is Able to do all things.

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلاَمُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلاَمُ وَإِلَيْكَ يَعُوْدُ السَّلاَمُ، فَحَيِّنَا رَبَّنَا بِالسَّلاَمُ
وَأَدْخِلْنَا اْلجَنَّةَ دَارَ السَّلاَمِ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ يَا ذَاالْجَلاَلِ وَاْلإِكْرَامِ

Allahumma An(G)Tassala_Mu Wa Min(G)Kassala_Mu Wa Ilaika
Ya’uwdussalam, Fakhayyina_ Robbana_ Bi_Ssala_Mu Wa Adkhilnaljannata
Da_Rossala_Mi Taba_Rokta Robbana_ Wa Ta’a_Laita Ya_Dza_Ljala_Li Wal
Ikro_M(I)

That means : O Allah! You are (owner) peace, from You is peace, and to You is the return of peace. Therefore revive us, O our Lord, with full peace. Enter us into heaven, place of peace.
You, O our Lord, Glory be to the Most High, O Substance Who Has Greatness and Glory.

أَعُوْذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيْمِ

A’uudzu Bi_Llahiminasy-Syaitho_Nirrojiim

That means : I seek refuge in God from the temptations of the accursed devil.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Bismillahirro’hmanirro’hiim(I)

That means : In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

الْحَمْدُ ِللهِ رَبِّ اْلعَالَمِيْنَ. الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيْمِ. مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِ. إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ
نَسْتَعِيْنُ. اهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ اْلمُسْتَقِيْمَ. صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ اْلمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ
وَلاَ الضَآلِّيْنَ. آمِيْنَ

That means : By mentioning the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
All praises be to Allah, God of the universe. Most Gracious and Most Merciful.
Who reigns on the Day of Judgment. You are the only one we worship, and to You alone do we seek help.
Show us the straight path. (that is) The path of those whom You have favored; not (Street) those who are angry and not (anyway the road) those who go astray.

وَإِلهُكُمْ إِلهٌ وَاحِدٌ لآ إِلهَ إِلَّا هُوَالرَّحْمنُ الرَّحِيْمُ. اَللهُ لآاِلهَ اِلاَّ هُوَاْلحَيُّ اْلقَيُّوْمُ
ج لاَتَأْخُذُه سِنَةٌ وَلاَنَوْمٌ ط لَهُ مَافِى السَّموَاتِ وَمَافِى اْلاَرْضِ قلى مَنْ ذَالَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ
عِنْدَه اِلاَّبِاِذْنِه ط يَعْلَمُ مَابَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَاخَلْفَهُمْ ج وَلاَيُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْئٍ مِنْ عِلْمِه
اِلاَّبِمَاشَآءَ ج وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّموَاتِ وَاْلاَرْضَ ج وَلاَيَؤدُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَالْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيْمُ

He is a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God, a God.
Allaahu Laa Ilaaha Illaa Huwal Hayyulqoyyuum(U).
Laa Ta’khudzuhuu Sinatuw Wa Laa Nauum.
Lahuu Maa Fissamaawaati Wa Maa Fil Ardhi.
Man Dzal Ladzii Yasfa’u ‘Indahuu Illaa Bi Idznihi.
Ya’lamu Maa Baina Aidiihim Wa
Maa Khalfahum.
Wa Laa Yuhithuuna Bi Syai-In From ‘The Child to Bi Masya-A. Wasi’a Kursiyyuhussamaawaati Wal Ardha. Wa Laa Ya-Udhuu Hifzhuhumaa Wahuwal ‘Aliyyul Azhiim.

That means : God, there is no god (who deserves to be worshiped) it is Him
The Living One continues to continue to manage (creature); not sleepy and not sleeping. Unto Him belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. No one can intercede with Allah without His permission? Allah knows what is before them and behind them, and they know nothing but the knowledge of Allah but what He wills.
The seat of Allah covers the heavens and the earth. And Allah does not care to take care of both, and Allah is the Most High, the Most Great.

إِلَهَنَا رَبَّنَا أَنْتَ مَوْلاَنَا سُبْحَانَ اللهِ
سُبْحَانَ اللهِ

That means: oh my god, You are our guide, Glory to God.
Glory be to God

سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ دَائِمًا أَبَدًا اَلْحَمْدُ ِللهِ
اَلْحَمْدُ ِللهِ

Sub’ha_Nallohi Wabi’hamdihi Da ‘Iman Abadan Al’hamdulillah(I)
Al’hamdulillah (Read 33x)

That means : God bless you, the glorious, and with His praise
always for eternity and eternal. All Praise to Allah. All praises be to Allah

اْلحَمْدُ ِللهِ عَلىَ كُلِّ حَالٍ وَفِي كُلِّ حَالٍ وَبِنِعْمَةِ يَا كَرِيْمُ
اللهُ أَكْبَرُ

Al’hamdulillahi’ Ala Kulli’ha_Linn Wafiikulli’halin Wabini’mati Ya_Kariim(U) Allohu Akbar (Read 33x)

That means: all praise is only to Allah, for all and in a state of enjoyment ,God is great. God Almighty

اللهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيْرًا وَاْلحَمْدُ ِللهِ كَثِيْرًا وَسُبْحَانَ اللهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيْلاً، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ
اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيْكَ لَهُ، لَهُ اْلمُلْكُ وَلَهُ اْلحَمْدُ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيْتُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيْرٌ.
وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللهِ اْلعَلِيِّ اْلعَظِيْمِ

Allohu Akbar(U) Kabiiron Wal’hamdulillahi Katsiiron Wasub’ha_Nallohi Bukrotan Wa Ashiilan, La_Ilaha Illallohu Wa’hdahula_Syariikalah(U),
Lahulmulku Walahul’hamdu Yu’hyii Wayumiitu Wahuwa ‘Ala_Kulli Syai
In(G)Qodiir(U).
Wala_’Hawla Wala_Quwwata Illa_Bi_Llahil ‘Aliyyil’adzhiim(I).

That means : No one has the right to be worshiped in truth except Allah, His only and no partner, His is all kingdoms, all praise and Allah, Almighty over all things, no power and strength, but with the help of the Almighty God.

Afdholudz-Dzikri Fa_’Lam Annahu

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَلِمَةُ حَقٍّ عَلَيْهَا نَحْيَا
وَعَلَيْهَا نَمُوْتُ وَبِهَا نُبْعَثُ إِنْ شَآءَ اللهُ مِنَ اْلآمِنِيْنَ

La Ilaha Illallohu Mu’hammadurosuulullohi Sollallohu' Alaihi Wa Sallam(A), Kalimatu’haqqin ‘Alaiha_ Na’hya_ Wa‘ Alaiha_ Namuutu Wa Biha_ Nub’a-Tsu In(G)Sya_'Allohu Minal Aminiin(A).

Prayer After After Fardhu Prayer

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرِّحِيْمِ اَلْحَمْدُ ِللهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

Bismillaahirrahmaanirrahiim Alhamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘aalamiin.

That means : In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds

حَمْدًا يُوَافِىْ نِعَمَهُ وَيُكَافِئُ مَزِيْدَهُ. يَارَبَّنَالَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ كَمَا يَنْبَغِىْ لِجَلاَلِ
وَجْهِكَ وَعَظِيْمِ سُلْطَانِكَ

Hamday yu-waafii ni’amahuu wa yukaafi’u maziidah.
Yaa rabbanaa lakalhamdu wa lakasy syukru ka-maa yambaghiilijalaali
the face is ‘azhiimisul-thaanik

That means : Praise that is proportionate to His blessings and guarantees additional.
O our Lord, Praise be to You, and be thankful to You all, as befits the nobility of Thy substance and the majesty of Thy power.

اَللهُمَّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلى آلِ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ. صَلاَةً تُنْجِيْنَابِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ
اْلاَهْوَالِ وَاْلآفَاتِ. وَتَقْضِىْ لَنَابِهَا جَمِيْعَ الْحَاجَاتِ.وَتُطَهِّرُنَا بِهَا مِنْ جَمِيْعِ السَّيِّئَاتِ.
وَتَرْفَعُنَابِهَا عِنْدَكَ اَعْلَى الدَّرَجَاتِ. وَتُبَلِّغُنَا بِهَا اَقْصَى الْغَيَاتِ مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الْخَيْرَاتِ فِى
الْحَيَاةِ وَبَعْدَ الْمَمَاتِ اِنَّهُ سَمِيْعٌ قَرِيْبٌ مُجِيْبُ الدَّعَوَاتِ وَيَاقَاضِىَ الْحَاجَاتِ.

Allaahumma shalliwasallim ‘alaa Sayyidinaa muhammadiw wa‘ alaa aali sayyidinaa muhammad.
Shala atan tun ajihnaa bíhaa minjamii’il ahwaali wal aafaat.
Wa taqdhii lanaa bihaa Jamii’al haajaat.
Wa tuthahhirunaa bihaa min jamii’is sayyiat.
Atarfa ‘ un a a bihaa ‘indaka‘ a’ladladarajaat.
Wa tuballighunaa bihaa aqshal ghaayaati min jamii’il khairaatifil hayaatiwa ba’dal mamaat.
It is a strange and wonderful thing to do.

That means : O Allah, bestow mercy and prosperity on our chiefs, Prophet Muhammad and his family, that is, grace that can save us from all fear and disease, which can meet all our needs, who can purify ourselves from all evils, who can raise us to the highest degree by Your side, and can convey us to the utmost goal of all good, both during life and after death. Indeed He is (God) All-Hearing, Very Close, again All-Gracious All prayers and requests.
O Essence Who Fulfills all the needs of His Servant.

اَللهُمَّ اِنَّا نَسْئَلُكَ سَلاَمَةً فِى الدِّيْنِ وَالدُّنْيَا وَاْلآخِرَةِ وَعَافِيَةً فِى الْجَسَدِ وَصِحَّةً فِى
الْبَدَنِ وَزِيَادَةً فِى الْعِلْمِ وَبَرَكَةً فِى الرِّزْقِ وَتَوْبَةً قَبْلَ الْمَوْتِ وَرَحْمَةً عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ
وَمَغْفِرَةً بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ. اَللهُمَّ هَوِّنْ عَلَيْنَا فِىْ سَكَرَاتِ الْمَوْتِ وَالنَّجَاةَ مِنَ النَّارِ وَالْعَفْوَ
عِنْدَ الْحِسَابِ.

Allaahumma innaa nas’aluka salaamatan ftddiini waddun-yaa wal aakhirah.
Wa ‘aafiya-tan fil jasadi wa shihhatan fil badani wa ziyaadatan fil‘ ilmi wa barakatan firrizqi wa taub atan qablal maut wa rahm atan ‘indalmaut Wa maghfiratan ba’d al maut. Allaahumma hawwin 'alainaa fii
sakaraatil maut Wan najaata minan naari wal ‘afwa’ indal hisaab.

That means : O Allah! Indeed, we beseech You, prosperity in religion, world and the hereafter, bodily well-being, physical health, additional knowledge, blessings of sustenance, repentance before death comes, mercy at death, and forgiveness after death.
O Allah! Simplify us in the face of death, (Give us) safety from the fires of hell, and forgiveness at the time of the calculation.

اَللهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنَ الْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْهَرَمِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ

Allaahumma innaa na’uudzu bika minal ‘ajzi Wal kasali wal bukhli wal
harami wa ‘adzaabil grave.

That means : O Allah! Indeed, we seek refuge in You from nature
weak, bad, miser, senile and from grave doom

اَللهُمَّ اِنَّا نَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَيَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَيَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لاَتَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ
لاَيُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا.

Allaahummainnaa na’uudzu bika min ‘ilmin laa yanfa’ W amin qalbin laa
yakhsya’ W amin nafsin laa tasyba’ Wamin dawatin to be tested.

That means : O Allah! Indeed, we seek refuge in You from knowledge
which is of no use, from a heart that is not special ', of an unsatisfied soul, and from unanswered prayers.

رَبَّنَااغْفِرْلَنَا ذُنُوْبَنَا وَلِوَالِدِيْنَا وَلِمَشَايِخِنَا وَلِمُعَلِّمِيْنَا وَلِمَنْ لَهُ حَقٌّ عَلَيْنَا وَلِمَنْ
اَحَبَّ وَاَحْسَنَ اِلَيْنَا وَلِكَافَّةِ الْمُسْلِمِيْنَ اَجْمَعِيْنَ

Rabbanagh Firlanaa Dzunuubanaa Wa Liwaa-Lidiinaa Walimasyaayikhinaa Wa Limu’alli-Mienaa Wa Liman Lahuu H Aqqun’ Alain Aa Wa Lim An Ahabba Wa Ahsana Ilainaa Wa Likaaffatil Mus Limiina Ajma’iin.

That means : O Our Lord, forgive us our sins, the sins of our parents, our elders, our teachers, those who have rights over us, people who love and do good to us, and all Muslims.

رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ السَّمِيْعُ الْعَلِيْمُ وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا اِنَّكَ اَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيْمُ

Rabbanaa Taqabbal Minnaa Innaka Antas Samii’ul ‘Aliim, Wa Tub ‘Alainaa Innaka Antat Ta Wwa Abur Rahiim.

That means : O our Lord, Please (application) from U.S, surely Thou art the Hearer, the Knower. And accept our repentance, Lo! Thou, most Merciful, Most Merciful.

رَبَّنَا أَتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي اْلأَخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ

Rabbanaa Aatinaa Fiddunnyaa Hasanah, Wa Fil Aakhirati Hasanah, Waqinaa ‘Adzaa Ban Naar

That means : O our Lord, give us the good of life in the world and
the goodness of life in the hereafter, and protect us from the torment of hellfire.

وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالْحَمْدُ ِللهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ

Washallallaahu ‘Alaa Sayyidinaa Muhamma-Din Wa’alaa Aalihiwa Shahbihiiwa Sallam, Wal Hamdu Lillaahirabbil ‘Aalamiin.

That means : May Allah grant mercy and prosperity to our chiefs, Nabi Muhammad, his family and friends and all praise be to Allah, God of the universe

The Dalil of Dhikr Together After Prayer

عَنْ أَبِيْ هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ, قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ صَلَّي اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: وَمَا
اجْتَمَعَ قَوْمٌ فِيْ بَيْتٍ مِنْ بُيُوْتِ اللهِ يَتْلُوْنَ كِتَابَ اللهِ وَيَتَدَرَسُوْنَهُ بَيْنَهُمْ إِلَّا نَزَلَتْ
عَلَيْهِمُ السَّكِيْنَةُ وَغَشِيَهُمُ الرَّحْمَةُ وَحَفَّتْهُمُ اْلمَلَائِكَةُ وَذَكَرَهُمُ اللهُ فِيْمَنْ عِنْدَهُ ( سنن
ابن ما جه : ۲۲۱)

"From Abi Hurairah RA he said, “Rasulullah SAW said, “It is not a group gathered in one of the houses of Allah SWT, while reading the Qur’an together, unless Allah SWT will bring them peace of mind, cover them with grace, surrounded by angels, and Allah SWT praises him in front of the creatures around Him” (Sunan Ibn Majah |, 221)
